Championships and pole positions were the key influencers in this correlation (0.778) which both proved to be significant using a T-test, whereas surprisingly age, podiums, and fastest laps proved to be insignificant, even though these are crucial aspects in the sport. Despite this, the regression calculation did prove somewhat useful with some insight on what affects salaries, maybe next time it would be a good idea to add more variables and maybe more accurate data.
